Volume pedal questions

I see that Ernie Ball has 2 Jr volume pedals.

250k version for passive signals

25k version for active signals

I play 80% acoustic guitar (with active preamp) and 20% electric (passive).
If I get the 250k version, what would happen when I use an acoustic active preamp with it?

You would need a buffer in front of the 250k jr., like a Boss tuner.
