Default Anthem SL in a CEO7?

I am considering an Anthem SL in a CEO7. Wondering if anyone has done this or something similar with good results.

I started out with a Lyric in my CEO7. it was awful.

Then I switched to a Dimarzio soundhole pickup combined most nights with a mic. That worked very well.

Now I'm trying my best with a K&K and Tonedexter.

Yeah I would use a K&K with tone dexter in a small guitar like the CEO-7.

I just bought a Eastman E15ss which is a 00 size, came with a Anthem SL. It sounds wonderful in this instrument. But this was at normal levels in my basement through a Fishman Loudbox mini. I did play it against my other guitars with a Schatten HFN, Taylor ES2 and a Bagg M1. The Anthem SL required very little EQ, very happy with the sound

The Anthem (prefer the full over the SL) is one of my favorite after market pickups but the K&K and tone dexter would keep the guitar empty. It all depends on the sound you want and how much convenience you require.

I am delighted with a K & K direct into a Loudbox Artist with no Tonedexter for my CEO7 if that helps further confuse the picture for you!

The guys at WorshipTutorials have this exact guitar with that same pickup. They seem to like it.

The Anthem is a good pickup, go for it!

However, I would probably try a Schatten HFN. Less invasive install, and a very good sound.

CEO7 comes in tomorrow from Maury's. I also was impressed by the videos of the Schatten HFN. I ordered one of those last night. I like the idea of not having to superglue it to the guitar.

I have an Anthem SL in a Waterloo WL14 guitar and I would recommend it to a friend. Simple to use and sounds great. It works well with my AER Compact 60 amp.
