Hi Fred!

Thank you, thank you!

I am on my first cup of coffee -- tastes wonderful! I'm so pleased to be part of your morning with this old song! With our three hours of time difference, I'm a little out of synch with you...

I agree, the Olson is just right for this mellow song. I played this song in the house for my wife on my D-45, and it sounds great on that guitar. But there is something so very comforting about the mellow sounds coming off the Olson that work just right for this comforting song. I'm so glad you commented on this.

I hope you are doing well, Fred!

Hi Jimmy!

Thank you so much for your kind and glowing comments! I am so appreciative! And I'm so very pleased that this song had meaning for you!

I hope all is well for you over in Hamburg! I am also well!

How nice of you, Don!

I really appreciate your comments!

I would love to go out picking apples, but not in the pouring rain! I'm glad you have a nice warm fireplace to cozy up against about now. And it's so rewarding to read your kind and encouraging comments about my performance of this great old Carole King song. I'm so glad you enjoyed this and felt it came out well!

Thanks you for taking time to comment! It means a great deal!

This one is really in your wheelhouse, Glenn! I loved it as a stripped down presentation: just you and your guitar. The Olson is of course a perfect choice. This is one of the all time greatest pop songs, in my opinion, and you played and sang it beautifully! I'm certain that both Carole King and James Taylor would approve and agree that you did it proud. Wonderful, Glenn!

Thank you so much, Larry!

I'm really pleased that you felt this cover came out well! I wonder what James Taylor or Carole King would have to say upon hearing this. Hopefully, they would feel that I did okay on this.

Thank you very much for taking the time to watch, listen and comment -- very nice of you to take the time.

I hope all is well for you and that your business is doing well.

Take care,
Glenn

Thank you Rémy!

I'm so glad to read that this song brings back memories for you, as well!

When I looked up this song I was very surprised to find out how long ago this song was on the radio. Time has just flown by over that 50 years!

I hope you are well!

Thanks, Glenn. You always seem to pick my favorite songs and do a great job...this was another one. Plus I just learned how to do the intro from your posting.

Well that's terrific, Angie!

I'm so glad this video was helpful to you! You obviously have the ability to read the chords right off the fretboard, which is an extremely useful gift!

Thank you for your kind comments! They are very much appreciated!

I hope you are doing well!
