Default A Waltz For Rebecca - Al Petteway

I first heard this tune on here a few weeks ago played excellently by Derek Coombs. I knew right away I just had to learn it so here's my take on it with the capo on the 2nd fret rather than the usual 5th.

https://youtu.be/BPayyL6--24

Hope you're not too tired of hearing yet

Wonderful job, Phil....and NO I will NEVER tire of hearing this tune. It's one I learned years ago, (although not exactly to Al's original) and have loved it ever since. Thanks for sharing this!!
Best wishes,
Fred

Nice Phil!

It's one of my A.P. favorites.

I did a short cover of it years ago also (last tune on my sc page).

Nicely done Phil and thanks for the comment.

The guitar I recorded that tune with puts out such a nice overtone complexity that I decided to space things out a bit at phrase endings to let that sound come out more.

Very well and fluid playing. Man, I admire your right hand (the left is not bad too). Lovely tone, very smooth!
