Sorry for your loss Wade. It's never easy and seems worse when someone you love and care about passes around the holidays.

Wade, so very sad. My condolences. Bryan was still young but endured a difficult ten years. May she rest in peace.

google offered to translate it for me, but they couldn't open it either.

I did find this - it's a selection of articles your sister published over the years in the Post-Dispatch (one of America's great newspapers),
on various subjects - classical music, Harry Potter, places in Arkansas . . . I hope it's not presumptuous of me to post the link. Seems like she had a very successful and admirable life.

So what are the mascots and football teams from that school called?

We are The Generals of course!

Wade Hampton led from the front in pretty much every battle
he was in, and he was in many of the most notable ones
in Northern Virginia and such. He was only seriously wounded,
chopped by swords and shot in a few of them though, not
every one. But this thread is not about that Wade Hampton,
it's about AGF's Wade Hampton and our collective
condolences for your loss...

-Mike

I’m sorry for the loss of your sister, Bryan. She sounds like a positive force of nature.
All my best to you,
Tom

PS-My mother’s people are from the low country of South Carolina and I have a sibling named Bryan, as well.

Male or female?

In our family not only were there multiple Sedgwicks, but several of our female relatives had Bryan for their first names, too. We had an Aunt Bryan and a female cousin named Cousin Bryan Foote.

As the old joke goes: How are Charlestonians and the Chinese alike?

Both drink tea, eat rice and worship their ancestors....

Wonderful tribute...I feel like I know her from your words...so very sorry for your loss...i myself lost a good friend this past week and summed him up like this
"Every time I interacted with Ed, every time, I came away silently inspired to be a better, nicer person...❤️"...
may their memories be eternal...
