Question Most Comfortable Guitar Strap?!?!

I have been lookin at different straps to use while performing, the one I have now hurts a lot and looks weird. I want an all leather high quality strap, so I have been looking at dark brown leather franklins(to match my taylor 214ce dlx sunburst). What do you guys prefer in a guitar strap?

I like the padded garment leather Levy's Leathers straps, and have them for many of my guitars:

I have one in this color, several in black, and several others in various shades of brown. They're extremely comfortable, and superbly well made: I have no doubt that all of my Levy's guitar straps will be around and fully functional long after I'm no longer on the planet.

I really like straps that go over the end of the guitar as oppose to connecting to the body. Just a personal preference but I find a few musicians do this also.
I am still looking for a strap that has a clip on piece that stays connected to the guitar head like this:

anyone knows where i can get one would love to know about it.

I think what you're seeing in the picture is this quick release system:

It can be easily attached to any strap you want to use it with.

My left shoulder and collar bone got smashed up in a cycling accident in 1996.
It was never "right" after that. In about 2012 they operated on it and did some bone re-orientation, and it is much better now BUT - weight on a guitar strap hurts it.

My solution - I make 'em myself - thick (4-6 m/m) leather 3" wide, nope adjustment necessary, and a Schaller strap-lock in the END of the heel (I know,I know!) and just an ordinary 1/4" diameter keyhole in the bottom end.

I have one for each guitar, and a few more (I just like making them). They are simple and basic cosmetically, but leather is as lovely to work with as wood.

If your interested:: I have an almost new 2 1/2" Italia, non-adjustable, 1 piece, acorn colored strap. I prefer a 2" size. This strap is very soft and flexible. PM me if interested for $30.

I have just about completed putting El Darado straps on all of my guitars. I tried several brands/styles and these are the most comfortable I have ever found.

I want to connect my guitar to my belt-buckle, so nothing is resting on my shoulders and I can spin it around like ZZ-Top. Where can I get a belt like this?

I love my Jaycko, is suede backed so it doesn't slide around. Plus it just looks cool

On an acoustic? Dude, htfu. ;-) An acoustic weighs, what, 4 lbs.? Remember that back in the day they often used a string instead of a proper guitar strap. Now, if you're Jerry Garcia playing a 13+ lb. guitar for a 5 hour set, a strap becomes important. But for an acoustic??

Tons of nice straps out there. Levy's makes some good ones - I have suede Levy's straps for a couple of my guitars. I also like Couch and Jeri Hart, but maybe not for an acoustic.

For acoustics, I am actually partial to Taylor's all-suede strap. Say what you want about the marketing, but that's one soft, comfortable strap, and it (obviously) fits the Taylor strap pins well.

Default Not even close..

This is not even close. Look at Action Straps..worn by Keith Urban and Jimmy Buffett...they are not cheap. But the entry level $100 is just as good as the $400 ones. They get a lot of money to "customize" a strap for ya. Couple years ago I got a black one and a brown one and they are great!!!

Try suede leather for a strap. Feels great.
