Excellent! Congrats on a cool guitar!

Do you know what separates this from a standard 000-28?**

**ON EDIT: looks like the neck profile and finish and toner are different.

No.. the "EC" stands for Eric Clapton... It's his signature guitar

I've owned one and I'm certain you will enjoy it as long as you bond with the neck shape. The only reason I sold mine is I decided to shift some of the money I had invested in real expensive guitars into another hobby. I've had dreadnoughts that didn't have the bass that EC had.

That's a great guitar! I'm much m0ore of a dread guy, but that's one non-dread I wouldn't mind having.

Hey Terry D...
Yeah I was concerned about that "V" neck shape. About a year ago, I went to our local GC and they just happened to have one and I spent several hours playing it. Felt comfortable in my hand.

I really liked it myself. It provided much less hand pain and fatigue. Some really hate it though. My Yairi has a similar neck shape but a little less chunky with my Easmans being just a chunky but C shaped. My hands just like chunkier necks, which took me years to finally discover and it was the EC that contributed to that.

Congratulations! I've had mine for just about a year now. My two wooden acoustics are the EC and the CEO-7, which also has a Mod-V. Both are fantastic guitars - I obviously bonded with the V-neck shape. Just a matter of whether I'm in the mood for the mahogany sound or the rosewood sound. As different sounding as I could want - both of them play like butter...

Enjoy it!

-Ray
