As long as I can move my arms around freely, so that I can play guitar, type responses on recording AGF, and pull my bow back...I'm in!
Wrap me up! I want to be first in line. I want to be safe. What ever it takes.
Just don't roll me down a hill after you wrap me up. I might be safe rolling down with all that bubble wrap, but I also might get a little too dizzy, and not be able to play guitar.
Hmmm? Now that could be a hit song? "Don't roll me down, before you Wrap Me Up... Baby " So this is how songs begins?
In case you have not guessed, my new years resolution is to be even more silly. It certainly worked for the Beatles.

I received some much needed help with my recording signal, now everything is dialed in nicely! Many thanks to those who helped me!

I am trying my best to just get through each day since my perfectly healthy, 24 year year old daughter died of Covid-19 a little over a year ago. I was about to retire before that happened, she and I talked about how excited we were to be able to spend more time together. She had just landed a great job, and all her hard work was beginning to pay off. Eight days after her symptoms began, she felt like good and was ready to start her new job, but suddenly just died and was gone. My wife and I received a call while asleep that night, we rushed to the hospital, but she was already gone. I had to give her sister the bad news over the phone.

Our lives were turned upside down. Most people have no idea how devastating this has been, or how difficult it is to lose a child, especially when there is a close relationship. I am struggling to find purpose and meaning, because this event has shifted our reality, and life will never be the same.

I am thankful still for so many things. Life is still a good thing to me. I was so broken-hearted after her, Aubrey’s, death. Six months after, a had a tear in my heart bypass graft from years ago, and it just floored me suddenly, the pain was unbelievable! Luckily, with creativity and modern medicine, doctors saved my life. It was a close call.

Still, I have this to help me through, the music, the guitar, the recording gear. It really helps me. Thats again to all of you fine people on the AGF!

Wow Rick my very sincere heart felt condolences.
Having both a daughter and a son I know I can only try to imagine.....
Makes my tribulations seem pretty darn mild

Brings to mind the Nashville songwriter who wrote a song with the lyric...

"Every man has a mountain to climb and most of those mountains are steeper than mine "

Rick, that's a devastating year full of pain I can't even imagine. I hope you and wife have better times ahead.
