Default Building A Small Studio

Warran Huart, who does the "Produce Like A Pro" Youtube channel is doing a series of videos aimed at those who want to build their own small studio.

He is converting a small second bedroom from the ground up, and is offering equipment choices based on low, medium, or higher end budgets.

I think this would have a lot to offer many of the folks who come here looking to do a similar project.

They finished the some of the wall treatment for that room and the panels they used left me scratching my head because they were so thin. It was a brand I hadn't heard of so I'm not sure what material was used. It sounds like they're going to add more so I'm curious to see what it looks like in the end.

When they were going over all the different types of panels one of the types was thinner and was fitted with a angled diffuser on the rear that changed the reflected sound direction and angled it at what looked to be a 45 degree angle to direct it on a longer path through the panel material.

Perhaps that was the one shown?

They covered a lot of ground in the first video and I may have seen that in the third video, so I don't remember exactly.
