JT1, I am also look forward to your new book! As I have said before, both Cindy and I really enjoyed the “Kalamazoo Gals” book. It was really touching and well written both!

Travel is off the table for us for the foreseeable future. Sigh…

Everyone have FUN and play pretty!

Stop by our booth and pick up your free curly maple AGF badge so you can identify other AGF’rs at the show.

Hello, Jack! I responded to your message.

Any chance that you'll be at Artisan?

Looks like I will be there only on Sunday. An Earth Day gig surfaced that I used to play regularly, then they went under for 15 years or so, surprisingly resurfacing this year.

If I am only going to be there Sunday, then it stands to reason that I should win Bill Krauss' wonderful guitar. He makes a far better guitar than his name recognition might make one think. And I'd be proud just to be able to play it.

I am not on the original list but will be displaying my guitars at the show. I am looking forward to reconnecting with my guitar friends in a few weeks.

Here is what I plan to display at the show, just a quick shot. They all need a lot of work, (set-up strings etc.)

In Front are the OMs. The All-Koa with Turquoise trim and The Tree OM with a master grade Adirondack top.

In back is 00-12 in White Spruce and Black Limba, my A16 Archtop, Euro Spruce and Maple, and a Size 1 with Adirondack and Brazilian.

I didn't realize until I set them out together that they all have different headstocks. I love that being a custom builder lets me feed my ADD.

I will try to get some more individual shot and perhaps a clip or two and post them in this thread Osthoff Guitars - Shop 2024

Had a great time at the 2024 Artisan Guitar Show. Only attended on Saturday and spent most of my time trying guitars and visiting but I was able to get a few pics. Met a lot of (new to me) AGFers. It's amazing how many of us are out there!

Here are a few pics.

Steve Kinnaird and dcn

Steve Kinnaird and his shopmate Ryan Middlebrook (nacluth)

Tim Farrell preparing to demo Riviere Guitars

Jason Kostal and Judson Riviere

Myself (cigarfan) with Jason and Judson

John Detrick (Artisan Organizer) with Mary and Tim McKnight

Mark Hatcher and his wife Karen

John Slobod (Circa Guitars) with his new 0-size with torrified top. This guitar has real punch and glorious tone. If I didn't have a current commission with John, this guitar would have come home with me.

John Slobod holding an AGFers piece of history. 1938 Gibson with Mahogany back and BRW sides. The tone was incredible.
