Default EQ Pedals

I just ordered one of the Danelectro Fish and Chips EQ pedals today. My amp only has one tone control so I wanted to be able to tweak the sound a bit. The pedal gets good reviews and for $30 what have got I to lose. My question is where should I put the EQ pedal in my chain? Not looking to use it as a boost just to shape tone. Currently my rig is.

Polytune Mini>Boss BD-2>Boss DS-1>Digitech iStomp (used as reverb)>VHT Special 6.

Really depend on what you want to shape. If it is the tone from your guitar then I would put it first. If it is your tone post effects you want to shape then put it last.

They're decent little pedals: cheap and reasonably quiet.

It could work anywhere for different things. You can use it as a clean boost, in which case it would be right in front of the amp. You could use it after an OD to shape the sound, or before maybe to cut a little bass. Experiment with everything you can think of.
