Default Anyone have a small piece of Cedar top wood?

I have a Seagull guitar with a cedar top that I need some wood to make cleats to repair a crack. Anyone have a piece to spare? PM for address and I will compensate for time and postage.

You don't need cedar, spruce will work just as well.

Go down to your neighborhood HD and pick up a cedar (or spruce) fence board. I made some cedar tops from them.

I'd be happy to send some along if you need cedar.

I'd be happy to send as well but I agree you can use just about anything light weight and local.
