Default Opinions on Chechen for back and sides

Anyone here have any experience with Chechen for a tonewood? I am curious to hear about its tonal quality and workability.
Thanks

I've been wanting to try it, but every time my local hardwood dealer gets some in, some other luthier around here buys it all!
I don't have any hands-on experience, but I know somebody likes it.

Default Chechen

It is well-regarded.
