Default Christmas Presentation MP3s...

Here's a few (mp3) selections from our Church's recent Christmas Presentation -- "Come In Grace and Glory". The recording turned out pretty well considering how we did it (details below if you are interested.)

Do a <Right+Click> and "Save Target As" to download the file to your local machine for listening. We ran all the instruments direct (except the Flute, which was Mic'ed), 16 channels into a 3-way splitter; 16 out to the Front of House; 16 to the Monitor board, and the remaining 16 to a third Mackie 16, which was for recording. The output of this board was sent to a Sony CDRW-33 recorder -- we put all the instruments on the left channel and the Vocals on the right. After the presentations, we post processed the waves as best we could (frustrating at best because of the 2-track), normalized the levels and re-mixed, blending the L-R together (along with a bit of compression and reverb.)

Oh yeah, if you listen good -- that's me and my K22CE in there with the rest of the Bums. It was fun!!
