Default Doerr Trinity (12 fret) Cedar/Master Grade Brazilian (New pictures added!)

Listing this beauty and the others indicated in my signature--using the proceeds to fund a grand piano for the family!

Up for offer here is an absolutely stunning Doerr Trinity with Master Grade woods throughout and the voice of an angel!
Top shelf gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood back and sides that are true quarter-sawn and flitch-matched with the inky black lines and stunning color and figuring. Tom used his finest set on hand of Western Red Cedar for the top.
The neck is Indian Rosewood, which really adds to the sustain and harmonic overtones. Very lush, modern sound that belies its size. The Trinity model is a 12 fret instrument sized larger than an 00 but a bit smaller than an 000--14.5" lower bout, 4.5" deep at the base.

For additional details and pictures, here is the AGF build thread: https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=361881

This instrument is on par with the standard specs of the top of the line Doerr "Sterling" series, which have a base price of $13,500. All the tone woods are top shelf. The main differences are that this instrument has abalone purflings instead of silver purflings and has Alessi Sterling silver tuners instead of Rogers nickel silver tuners. Mine has a customized Cedar Creek case instead of a Main Stage case. Mine has African Blackwood bindings instead of Ebony.
Guitar is in EXC+ condition, except for the following. There was a shipping mishap when Tom first sent it out to me, resulting in minor damage to the back of the instrument which was thoroughly checked by Tom, repaired by him and Brian Galloup, and was then completely refinished. There is still a hairline-thin outline visible under the finish that remains, but under normal viewing circumstances, you won't notice it. I can't get it to show in pictures. It's ancient history to me, but I want to be upfront about everything. Other than that, the guitar is in near Mint condition, always kept in the case with proper humidity, never gigged.
Taking that into consideration, I am asking $8500 o.b.o., which is the base price of Tom's "Signature" level of features.
I will add some new pictures asap, but I seem to be having a problem with Imgur...the build thread has many excellent pictures at the end, though.

Specs:

Soundports
Scale length: 25"
Nut width: 1 7/8" (with a little extra space below the high E string for bends)

Oh my - pretty sure I played this one at Tom's shop a while back, and it still haunts me.

Sometimes I wish I hadn't built up so much willpower!

No problem - here are a few more. The attention to detail on this out is nothing short of amazing..

If this were a 14 fret, I'd be finding a way to sell a body part

Wow!!!! Tom’s guitars are fantastic. If I wanted to be divorced, I’d buy this as a companion to my Swiss spruce/BRW Doerr. Alas, I love my wife! And divorce is expensive. But then again, I WOULD have two Doerr’s to keep me company. LOL.

Seriously, his work is exquisite and the playability outstanding.

I won’t say GLWS because you shouldn’t need it, but rather congrats to whomever picks up this beauty..

In 18 years here on the forum, there was only one other guitar listed that made me want to do something I KNOW I shouldn't do.

This one is just about perfection!

It sure does--at the time Tom built this instrument, the only other guitar he'd built that was as ornate and detailed was his special 100th guitar. Thanks!

Another firm endorsement of Doerr guitars. I have a similar model to that being sold here and it puts my other acoustics to shame, they now stay in their cases! GLWTS
