Default Pre 1920s roud hole Archtop Gibson?

I just stumbled on this video

I used to have one of those. With a solid tortoise (?) cross bar on the tailpiece and in fine condition.
I had it impounded by HM Customs because I'd unknowingly bought it from an American guitar smuggler. I eventually got it back then fell on hard times and sold it ....for £150 !!! (about 1975. and I still miss it.

for some reason I thought mine was an L-3 (maybe it said that on the label) and looking on the great guitarHQ.com site is seems very difficult to see the difference between the L-1, L-2 andL-3 of the pre'20s round hole archtops.

Anyone know the difference?
