Biscuit Bridge Question
I have a Regal RC-55 resonator guitar, I'm getting a little bit of buzzing and when I looked at the biscuit bridge I noticed its not at 90 degrees to the strings, is this correct?

It is likely offset to help with intonation.

Ahh, OK thanks for your reply, I won't look to mess with it then.

Chasing down buzzes is part of the fun with inexpensive (and sometimes other) resonators. Often, it's something as simple as a screw that needs to be tightened, or putting a piece of foam or leather between the tailpiece and the coverplate.
There's no harm in turning the biscuit (and the cone) to where the bridge is at 90 degrees to see how it affects the intonation, but if it plays in tune now, I wouldn't mess with it. |
