Anyone know this technique?

Does anybody know what this performer is doing at about 1 minute 50 seconds into the video? It looks like he's plucking strings up the neck, but his left hand is at the top while he's doing it and it sounds different. I've seen everyone who plays this piece use this technique, but I have no idea what it is. Can anybody help? Thanks! |

Yes, artificial harmonics. You can make it the primary part of the tune if you wish.
