But... more than the neck width, it is how the strings are spaced that is important, so my question to all Enya X4 Pro owners is: How is the strings spacing at the nut?
Can you please measure it from the center of the low E to the high E? Is it 35, 36, 37, 38 mm? This info would be very useful to me. Thanks in advance !
Hi Gerardo,

Using digital calipers:

Nut Width = 1.688 (1 11/16)

Centers E to E = 35.5 mm

The neck profile feels similar to my RainSong BI-DR1000N2 but just a smidgen narrower at the nut.

I don't have a radius tool either so I'll have to look closely at the fretboard radius and compare it to both a Martin GPC-18E spare TUSQ saddle and a spare RainSong DR1000 TUSQ saddle and get back to you.

Another plus for Enya: I sent an email to them, and they replied in less than 24 hours! "Thank you for contacting us. The fretboard radius on the Nova Go guitar is 16 inches."

I'm on my way to StewMac right now.

What would you reckon is the safe max E to E spacing that can be carved into a new X4 nut without rolling strings off the edge of the fretboard?

Cheers

Yesterday, I made an adjustment to the truss rod on the Enya X4 Pro. It was easy using the included wrench (Enya includes everything but the kitchen sink with their guitars). The neck relief was about .012" to start with and I made it about .006" with the action now being about .094" (I'll have to actually measure it with feeler gauges) and now the guitar plays like the proverbial AGF "buttah."() Next I'll adjust the Enya Nova Go.

That's great customer service! Could Enya be an up-and-coming company that five years from now will have everything from the Enya Nova Go to $3K - $4K high-end carbon guitars, and everything in between?

I could see going outward on each side another .75mm (.030") max or .63 mm (.025") to be safe as far as not causing the two E strings to roll off the edges of the fretboard. This would actually suit me better as far as ease of thumb-fretting.

I'm up to 14 hours of plugged-in time on my first charge of the Enya X4 Pro AcousticPlus's onboard rechargeable battery and its battery-charge indicator light is still GREEN.

Okay, Folks, maybe it's the soundhole locations of my Enya X4 Pro AcousticPlus and RainSong BI-DR1000N2, but acoustically I find the Enya auditorium-sized ax is louder and fuller-toned than the larger-bodied, 4X-the-cost RainSong dreadnought. Takeaway: If you don't purchase an Enya X4 Pro AcousticPlus for between $699.99 and $899.99 (depending on offers) as your go-anywhere, stage-ready, acoustic-electric guitar--You're Crazy Not To Do So!

Sprucetop can you tell whether the neck is moulded in place or bolt on?

It has a bolt-on neck. The guitar has plenty of sustain and is full-toned.

What an endorsement Sprucetop! Very cool. I dig the cantilevered bolt on neck. If I didnt already have a Rainsong, and needed a CF guitar, I would go for one of these.

Wow, sound like you've hit on a good thing, especially for the price.

WOW! For my first time with this ax, "It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)" in Dropped D rocks this guitar to its core, and it comes up yelling, "Is That All You've Got, Punk!?"

Thanks main reason I was asking was to compare vs my Klos and Journey RT660. Both of those can remove the neck via bolts to make for a more plane friendly traveller. Sounds like that might be an option here too.
