How does Composite Acoustic guitar stack up to current crop of Carbon Fiber guitars?

Well...this comment seem to indicate that the CAs are still very competitive with current crop of Carbon Fiber guitars. I played some CAs that would have been considered very good wood guitars. Not all but some are.
