Hi st…
FourTrack…

Interfaces and interface cables are available for direct hookup…I have a cable I got from Peterson Tuners for my 2K iPod Touch, and it still works with my 4k one as well.

I've seen it several places, but this is one link

adapter for ipod touch-CLiCK

Hi st…
I forgot, for your application the iRig or the Peavy AmpKit interfaces would be better since they also permit headphone or monitoring via the headphone jack as well as plugging in the guitar.

iRig is $39 and the AmpKit is $29 and both work fine.

The iRig is smaller (more portable) and both are impedence matched for electric guitars &/or line levels.

Do you use fourtrack for the 4th gen ipod touch? I've thought about getting one because the app looks really cool.
