2001 Bourgeois Country Boy D - Professional Series SOLD
For sale is my 2001 Bourgeois Country Boy Professional Series. This Country Boy model has a Sitka Spruce top with gorgeous mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck with volute, nickel Waverly tuners and simply styled tortoiseshell binding. The nut spacing is 1 23/32” and the saddle spacing is 2.2”. It has a Ziricote peghead veneer, an Ebony fingerboard with vintage dot inlays and Ebony bridge pins with MOP dot inlays.
The guitar plays beautifully. The instrument is loud and will allow you to stand out in any jam session. There are some fine scratches and a couple of minor dings, but overall, the guitar is very clean for its age. It has no body cracks. The frets show some wear under the B string on the first few frets and has a slight belly, but nothing of concern. A Martin Thinline passive pickup is installed and sounds great.
