Sheesh, that's so nice. Only Chris and Jeremy...
One of the cool things they are doing is that printed lamination inside the guitar.
I'd probably just stare at that!

Love your wood comb! I have a SE BRW / Spruce with a burst in the pipeline,
The wait begins.

I have a deposit on a future build, how long did your take for the entire process?
Have you had a chance to play your yet?

Hey, that's great! It took about 15 months from the first contact to the finished guitar in my case. I enjoyed the process a lot, Chris was incredibly helpful and kind, and patient. One advice I can give: trust his aesthetic sense, the man is a true artist. I just gave him a general idea - not too much bling, maybe a bit of red and turqouise - and he came up with the most beautiful design I can imagine. On one ocasion I wanted to replace the turqoise with abalone, but Chris adviced against it, and was totally right of course

I haven't played it yet. I will pick the guitar in November, I live outside the US. I cannot wait to have it in my hands...

Chris send me a few videos of a friend of his playing the guitar.
With their permission, I post two of them here (hope it works).

Please note that the quality could be better, they are recorded on an iphone:

It turned out great! If you want Chris can ship the guitar to me for safe holding until your trip to the USA

Enjoy

Just been playing it Ernesto!
It traveled home safe and sound, as carry on baggage with Air New Zealand. They put it in the coat locker. Great airline.

That sounds fantastic, congrats! It's always an adventure, isn't it? I wish there was such a guitar-friendly airline traveling from Chile to Texas. At least I have the Calton, with case cover

Thank you! Man, that sounds tempting, but I don't know if I will survive that long without my Saddle Pal...
