Default Favorite Acoustic Guitar CD?

What's your favorite acoustic guitar CD?

It doesn't have to be an all acoustic CD, just a CD in which the acoustic guitar plays a predominant part throughout much of the CD?

The reason I ask is because I've looked at many "best acoustic guitar CDs" lists and, although I don't listen to a great number of artist that make the acoustic guitar prevalent in their music, I question some of the CDs they think so highly of...with the main one being Nirvana Unplugged. I've listened to this several times and just can't find the love.

I know people's taste in music varies a great deal, but would love to hear about some of your favorite CDs that fall into this category!

Again, I haven't listened to a lot of music (yet) that showcases the acoustic guitar, but love Turnpike Troubadours Diamonds and Gasoline and Five Man Acoustical Jam by Tesla.

Looking forward to hearing your favorites!

I will never forget this exchange as I was driving school car pool one morning
Back seat kid: “Mr. Stroop, who’s that on the radio?”
Self: “That’s The Beatles.”
Back seat kids: (chirp chirp)
Self: “You know ... John Lennon? Paul McCartney?”
Different back seat kid: “Wait, you mean Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings?”

For me: Don Ross Passion Session

To my ears every track is perfection. There are very very few CDs where I love every single track.

I like Al Petteway's "Mountain Guitar." Its in my car's cd player right now. Another favorite is Derek Coombs' (Rick-Slo) cd "Could It Be" and I also have Philip Taylor's (UKPhil) "One Year On" cd which is very relaxing to listen to.

Clapton's "Unplugged" is a nice listen also.

I like Doug Smith's solo acoustic guitar CD's, very well recorded I think.

For ensemble work I like Checkfield .

Storyteller-Chris Cornell.

I wish i could sing 1/4 as well as he does, because ive pretty much learned to play every song on it.

The only other modern era purely acoustic CD I have is Micheal Hedge's TapRoot. I havent listened to it in a long time.

And of course, being a blues guy, I have Robert Johnson's complete set.
