Default My new pedalboard!

Well, I have a pretty simple electric setup, and I am quite fond of the tone I am getting and options I have in terms of sounds from the few pedals I have stuck with, so I thought it was time to get creative with my pedalboard.

I found an old suitcase at a thrift store for $1.20, used some scrap wood I had laying around from past projects, got some screws, lift off latches, and hard rubber feet, and went to work.

Here's the final result: (I am quite happy with it)

At first pic I thought you were jokin. That's really clever. As an engineer, you have my admiration for your ingenuity and style. Well done, sir.

Nicely done! Looks great and seems to be very efficient. How much does it weigh?

A little satin flat black vinyl paint and who would tell it's not professional. Pretty cool. OR covered in vintage travel stickers!

it weighs a total of 22 pounds. the one I was using before (which I built from scratch as well) weighed 32 pounds....so it's quite an improvement from that standpoint. the difference is the suitcase weight vs. 3/4 inch MDF for my last case.

here's a pic of my previous case:

Nice work! I like to see other peoples creativity. I wish I were more creative, but I just buy what I need and be done with it.

Thumbs up Interestingly cool!

It's not what I'd use, but still cool nonetheless.

Very cool.

Where did you find hinges like that?
I've been looking everywhere!

Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Very cool ... my only tip would be to add something to the bottom of the board to keep it from slipping... I finally replaced my old board after almost falling a half dozen times during a gig with a slick floor.
