Default Gibson G-45 Standard now with rosewood fingerboard iso richlite?

On the Gibson site I see that the fretboard of the Standard G45 now is made out of Rosewood in stead of richlite? That would justify the higher price for me. Richlite was a step down from walnut for me, to be honest. Do all new Standard G45's now ship with rosewood fretboards? Would be worth to wait for me...

mmmmmm....personally
I actually like Richlite better. The easiest guitar I have to play is a ooo martin with a pleked richlite fretboard. You never have to oil it. Its always stable. And I like the black color. I actually would take the richlite over rosewood. I actually think the rosewood may be a cost savings as Richlite does not mean cheap.

I'm more of.a wood guy, I guess.
What wondered me most is that I didn't read anything on changing the specs of the Gibson G-45 line.

understand completely. Felt the same until I played a richlite fretboard.

I like rosewood and ebony wood fretboards. Do not like the walnut fretboards, too light colored and color streaked....visually not appealing to me on a fretboard.

I do have a Les Paul with plastic bindings, plays like a dream and I don't even touch the wood of that fretboard to be honest. Maybe I should just get over it
