Default NGD - Taylor 912ce Builder’s Edition.

Didn’t want to miss out on one of these little beauties! Amazing sound coming from it already and haven’t even had a good set-up/string change done. Action came a little higher than my 000-18 standard did. Paradigm shift in the industry? Amazing quality build, sweet sound. I love the looks and feel. I have only had GS Minis from Taylor and always go for SCGC, Gibson, Martin vibe. That said, I am a bit blown away with how much I like this one!

Stunning guitar man! Saw a few of these at Chicago Music Exchange the other day!

I'd love to hear how it sounds with some nice 80/20 strings on it!

Thank you!
80/20s? Think that would be best for it? I like my SCGC strings on most everything else but am open to new sounds!

Thank you! I originally was shopping for the 717BE/517BE like yours and saw this one! Pictures do not do it justice...so much cooler in person.

I've come to the conclusion that to my ears on a modern voiced guitar that has Rosewood, the 80/20 clean everything up better, and actually add a bit of the bass back into it.

That's been my experience on my Furch Grand Auditorium with Coco. The 80/20 seem to give me more bass response which makes it from sounding 'thin' as many would put it.

Nice! That’s what I feel it will need being a GC.

I will! On a trip now and a long way from home. But, brought it with me and I will suffer the “flaws” until I get home.
