Default Cowgirl Blue -Eric Skye

Resurrected this little fingerpicking tune I made up in the 90s. We didn’t know if our daughter Taylor was gonna be a boy or girl, so when I found the color “Cowgirl Blue” at paint store I figured it was a safe choice. I used to play this to get her to sleep, because putting audiences to sleep is my superpower. https://youtu.be/A01_YAjJukU

I also posted a comment on Eric’s YT page for this video. I really look forward when you share music with us. Probably my biggest challenge as a fingerstyle player is remaining in the moment with the music as I play an arrangement. Watching (and studying) players like Eric in these videos really provides inspiration for me. I really appreciate what he does for the community from offering himself for lessons to anyone, his outstanding 30 Day Acoustic Guitar Challenge, and these performances. Well done and thank you!

Wonderful, Eric! This tune for me, seems to be a cross between a "story" and a lullaby all wrapped into one. Great name, great tune!
Best,
Fred
