[SOLD] Martin Custom OM-18 - Golden Era Bracing, Adi, Mahogany, Modern Neck

This Martin Custom Shop guitar combines Golden Era bracing with Martin’s modern neck shape (the modified low oval with high-performance taper). If you’re looking for classic Martin Golden Era sound with a more comfortable neck and a long scale length, this could be your guitar. Key Specs: Adirondack top, Mahogany back and sides, 1 3/4" neck, 25.340'' (25.4'') scale length, 2 5/32'' string spacing. Top braces: Adirondack/Scalloped 1/4''/Golden Era. Impressions: Extremely light build. Very responsive to light touch but can also get loud. Airy bass notes and overall it just stacks very well: The bass notes sound "below" the treble notes if that makes any sense. It’s a great fingerpicking instrument, and playing with a flatpick, the wound strings give a satisfying “thud” feeling that I attribute to the Golden Era bracing. Is it weird to say that this guitar is extremely shiny? It just gleams. Barely any visible fret wear. It’s been played a bit, but mostly been a case queen. I’m not certain of the year it was made but I bought it new in early 2020, so I suspect it’s roughly a 2019 or so. Very little in the way of dings or wear. If you look really closely, you’ll notice: - 2 subtle dings on back of headstock, bass side - Light string scratch on the front of the headstock - 2 subtle dings at the edge of the top and a third very slight, “Where’s Waldo”level dimple. - Some picking on the pickguard This is a great instrument!
