hi- i am interested. i've had a few Taylors [510e]; [2016 712e 12fret, 2014 522e 12fret] and a gs mini. all played really well except i found the mini a bit too narrow at the nut......the 712 seemed like it had slightly too diffuse notes....maybe the lutz spruce was the culprit....; the 522 was gorgeous, played the best ever, but was subdued.......i'm still obsessed a bit with the playability of the taylor 12 frets.......hence my interest.....
is your 322ce good and loud acoustically? there are some duds out there......
and it has its case, no?
thanks
not sure how the process works here.....buying i mean.

maybe to give a little context, the acoustics that that have made the cut, have lasted with me, are: a guild M20---more "alive" than most guitars.....larrivee parlor p03R , also "alive" , really responsive....and a Martin D JR a "real" guitar and a real value.
i'm hoping for something rich-sounding , GOOD acoustic volume, and really good playability....
is your 522 louder or the 322? what year is your 522? [just trying to home in on the sound of your 322]
thanks!!

Comparing the 522 to the 322: the 522 is much more fundamental in tone, where the 322 has additional top-end and more overtones. I think that translates to more perceived volume, but I wouldn't call either of them "quiet" (I've had a 512ce 12-fret with cedar, and that guitar was much quieter). This 322 is clear and resonant, but compared to a spruce top has some natural compression to it. In all honesty, having both the 3 and 5 series, I actually preferred the 322 sound more because it feels like it's got the additional overtones, which makes it more "complex" than the spruce tops, but also maintains that mahogany top sound.

My 522e 12-fret is a 2015 (it has the natural darker stain, not the newer bursted top -- so probably very similar to your 2014); the 322ce 12 fret is a 2016.

Yes, the OHSC is included, and it has no issues.

The last picture: Is that just a string bent out of the way to show the fret condition?
