My daughter in law nails the vocals, I’m on guitar, my son does the video.

Here's another one of my solo acoustic instrumental arrangements of a Beatles song--"If I Fell."

John Lennon said he wrote it, but Paul McCartney maintains that he and John wrote it together (mostly, McCartney says he composed the preamble, which appears nowhere else in the song). Appears on the third album The Beatles released in the US, "Something New" and the lp "A Hard Day's Night," 1964. #53 US Billboard as B-side to "And I Love Her" (#12 US Billboard), 1964.

I'm playing a 1976 Martin D-35:

There are some great great pieces here. Very fine covers indeed.

I think it's a testament to the songwriting talents of Harrison, Lennon and McCartney that their work gives rise to so many different arrangements. This one is one of my favourites. Such an unusual song in terms of theory. It uses every single chord without sharps or flats, in a major key. Very very cleverly done by John. It ends on an infinite loop, though I ended it on an E major.

Great stuff everyone I'm really enjoyed listening to everyone's contribution.

Here's another old recording I did back in 2008. The arrangement is obviously beyond my fingers, but I sledgehammered my way through regardless,

The arrangement is by Laurence Juber.

Truly enjoyed that. Well done! And I don’t see too many fingerstyle folks who both flatpick and fingerpick at the same time, but I thought it worked quite well.

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers,

Dave

Thank you Dave!

George Harrison played this with a flat pick and I used my fingers, so my approach led to some slight variations over George's approach. I'm glad you didn't mind.

I appreciate your kind words!

Lovely thread, and here is my arrangement of "She is leaving home" by the Fab four. I love this song dearly and it developed a bit more, but this recording was done 2 years ago.... hope you like it!
