Default NGD Yamaha SA2200

Got this a couple of days ago. Always have liked 335s and have owned two but never could get the tone I was looking for (e.g., Doobies "South City Midnight Lady," "Another Park Another Sunday"; Bread, "Baby I'ma Want You").

This guy is getting me closer! It's a darn big guitar and not lightweight but I'm glad to have it.

Bought it because of my outstanding experience with Yamaha L series acoustics.

Thanks for looking!

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous. Very nice guitar!!! Enjoy.

Although they enjoyed a brief period of popularity in the early-80's (thanks largely to the Santana connection) it's a shame the upscale, Japanese-made Yamaha electrics by and large don't get the respect they deserve; I have an '82 SSC-500 solid (one of the last MIJ models before they moved production to Taiwan, and my first three-pickup guitar) that was one of my two main gigging guitars for over 25 years, still does backup duty at every gig, and after nearly 40 years of hard use it's still rock solid and plays/sounds great...

Love that dark teaburst flame - use it well, often, and LOUD...

Pretty guitar! I like 335-style guitars! Yamaha does a great job! Congratulations!

Fantastic! Just a stunning looking Yamaha. I too am a little jealous .

Do you have any idea how much it weighs? (you mentioned it's not lightweight).
