truckee, I went with more narrow around the 7 through 12th fret . As I couldn’t really wrap my thumb, Chet n Merle style on the low E, on the 2020 X20 I bought. Loved everything about it but the wide neck. I kept the 1-3/4” width nut, but I could have just as easily went with the 1-11/16” and been ok too. I go from my narrow nut banjos to a couple of Martins that have 1-11/16” nuts to others that have 1-3/4” with very little problem , so the nut width wasn’t a problem. Hope this answers the question.

ZebraKing, will do. I don’t see how it can top the anthem pickup as in my previous one as it was fantastic. But I’ll give you my opinion after a few days of marriage with it.
