I am truly enjoying it what little I have played it (7 kids and the darn job)! I am tired of work getting in the way.

Sounds like with seven kids and six Olsons you need to place one more order with Jim...

You must be the most richest man in the whole wide world

BUT, I will always be satisfied with my Charis. Would not mind an (as in ONE) Olson, however Now, if I had, say $200k to work with, I would be commissioning guitars left and right, lol. It's really hard to explain to outsiders the excitement of having an instrument built for you, isn't it?

Your Charis is a beauty, haven't ever seen one in real life.

Rich means you don't have to worry about taking a week off. I never take a week off nor could I. Every day is eat what you kill day. The longest trip I ever take is Thursday to Monday. Actually my banker harassed me today and told me if he ever take a loan to committee with me showing $5000 in cash on a personal financial statement, he is going to hurt me. He could not appreciate the killer guitars I have...SHEESH!

My Olson is the first guitar I ever commissioned! Yes I am excited!

Thanks. I also had a Engelmann/Ziricote SJ (still the first picture on Bill's gallery (see here), but I had to sell that to get the GC I currently own. Just decided I liked the warmth of the Cedar/EIR better.

True that. But, real riches can't be bought or sold...

Just never thought I'd see someone with SIX Olsons under their sig, oh and a couple lowly Ryans to balance it out

Remember that part about paying for guitars....I am still at the office...where I have been since 4 am....no time to record a clip but I will tell you the sustain and resonance is through the roof.

Wow, you really work a lot. Maybe it's time to do some "pruning" so you have more time to play those beauties.

So true. And remember the 7 kids?

I have 20 kids, but that's only for an hour and a half on Sunday (2nd grade children's church). Can't imagine that 24/7. Ah, but they're still great!
