Hi, just poking my nose in here, being a 12 fret dread nut. The nut width on the D18.28.35 - "S" models were 1 & 7/8" =1.875" which was always the standard for Martin standard scale 12 fret models, until the HD28VS came out with a 1 & 3/4" nut width.

Also the neck profile on the D35-S was a "C" profile, and I believe it was the same neck on all three.

Hope this helps (exit - pursued by a bear).

I measured very close to that nut width 1.875 of course I could be off.

Default This is a steal!

Frankly - I simply cannot understand why people are not queuing up for this guitar!
Easily the finest series made by Martin in the '60s to '90s, and not that many made.

If I wasn't already blessed with four 12 fret Dreads, I'd be talking to Varmontier myself.
If anyone doubts the benefits of a wide necked 12fret dread watch this:

I love that it doesn't have a pickguard. I think it looks awesome!

Thanks guys for the kudos. Like i said the original
owner ordered this guitar special from nazareth.
without a pickguard. Like Silly moustache said. There
really is a nicer sound out of these 12 fret slotheads.
I was playing it again today dialing in
my new helix stomp and man it sounds nice.
Maybe im crazy to sell it.IMG_1351.jpg
