Default Best on-line retailer for Taylor guitars

Hi I was wondering if there is an on-line retailer that discounts Taylor guitars like myfavoriteguitars.com does with Martins.

I'm too far away from any good music stores, so have to buy on-line.

Jon at Shoreline Would get my vote. I'm not a Taylor guy but I have used Shoreline for everthing from Strings to Pickups. His customer service is exceptional.

I looked at Shoreline today and they show a lot of Taylors but they are all sold out. Looked like they had about 5 in stock. My gripe with many of these on-line retailers is that they clutter your search with guitars that are not available. Who cares if it is gone?

Correction- 11.

i would still call. I do agree that I'm not a fan of sites leaving "sold" guitars on there. Fuller's Guitar is terrible about that (but a fantastic shop).

John @ Shoreline has an excellent reputation around here, just in general, but especially for Taylor as well.

If I were buying a new Taylor, that's who I'd call.

other than that, have you checked the classifieds? You can often get a *sweet* guitar for wayyyy less than buying new. (i have been eyeballing the 516 Ltd for sooo long.. I really want someone to buy it already... lol). what Taylor are you looking for in particular, if any?

Good luck!!

Shoreline is great. Not sure the website is always updated so just call and speak with John. Music Villa in Bozeman, MT is another great option.

If you know what model guitar you want ordering it should not a problem. I waited about a month for a back ordered V-Class 814ce. No worries I have other guitars. If you order an Emerald you’ll have about a 3-4 month wait. High end guitars aren’t cheap! Most dealers don’t have deep stock and when they sell their stock they have to wait until restocking.

Shoreline is awesome - my go to for Taylors and Larrivees. Wilcutt Guitars in Lexington, KY is also a great Taylor dealer with great prices whom I've used. Always ask for their lowest price.

No buying experience with them, but I did get a price quote on a Taylor 12 string that was very very friendly.
