To address the question:

Sometimes the best luthiers do not take on repair work- although related the repair of a guitar requires a skillset which does not 100% overlap with building a great guitar.

I would only trust my long time mate, Kenji with repair work if I were back in the UK again. I caught up with him last year and he was overwhelmed with work and rightly so. His skills are superb.

Sorry, I misread the OP, I thought you were looking for a commission, yes, neither of the two I mentioned would do that. They are building fantastic guitars, sorry for any confusion.

SO sorry, misread the OP, no Rory or Rosie would not do repair work that I know of. Sorry. I think the title of the thread is not the best in terms of seeking repair work?

If the OP wishes it changed, just let me know and I can do that for you.
