Default 1957 Martin D-18 with Red Spruce top

Here is my 1957 Martin D-18 with a verified by Martin records " East Red Spruce " top. No top or back cracks, lots of checking and Mojo on original finish. Several side cracks expertly sealed and cleated. Original bridge,Oriiginal bridge plate. Original tuners. Frets and board show some wear in first three.
Classic feather light 50's D-18 with that needle sharp, cutting single note sound these are known for, with the plus of an Adi. top. Comes in black, hard case. Contact me for details/ questions. $ 5,700.00 PayPal FF, shipped Fedex ground to lower 48.

I have had some questions about the bridgeplate, which I have listed as a pro replacement. I don't know that it is a replacement, it is a maple plate of the correct size and shape, with no sign that a previous plat was removed; but, it is so clean and light in color, that I am listing it as a replacement unless I find out otherwise, and to prevent any buyer surprises. Here is a pic of the bridgeplate, you can decide for yourself.

The Martin records call it East Red Spruce. I have been told that some of the Red Spruce or Adirondack Martin used came from Vermont.

I have been informed by several experts that the bridge plate is original. I have edited by original post .
