SOLD - Taylor BTO Custom - Western Red Cedar + Macassar Ebony - SOLD
A special one here – this is a Taylor BTO (Custom) model from 2015 featuring a Western Red Cedar top and stunning Macassar Ebony back and sides on a short scale (24 7/8”) grand concert sized body. The guitar has Adirondack CV Bracing with Relief Rout.
Macassar ebony is typically reserved for Taylor's presentation series, and when available, custom guitars. The guitar is in excellent condition – not mint. It has some surface swirl marks and some clouding on the headstock near a tuning peg, nothing of any note. The guitar is beautiful, as John at Shoreline said it was “so good, so full of life, clarity, thick tone and low-end richness that I bought it on the spot.” For sale here for $OLD + shipping + Paypal fees. Still here guys - had a couple of buyers hit my asking price on Reverb - one of them wouldn't pay.....then came back and offered less! I won't deal with him under any circumstances!!

Just had this guitar looked over by luthier and expert repairman Rufus Stewart. He says it's a 9/10, condition 'like new'.
He looked it over with his magnifying glass. The clouding near a tuning peg I refer to in the original post is actually a surface smear. The only thing he saw was a tiny little mark under one of the strings near the bridge he suggested may have been made by a fingernail or some such. A real beauty here folks. |
