Glad I didn't attempt If You Could Read My Mind - some fine versions posted here already!
that's cool for you to step up and post a song.

very nice. i'm not familiar with this tune, but your recording has a bit of a renaissance feel (perhaps the 12 string, perhaps the tune, or both), that i really enjoyed. nice even tempo and story.

the mustache bridge was apparent.

Thanks very much. We played as an acoustic duo through most of the '80s, then started an electric country band around 1990 or so.

thanks, todd, that's a cool song. rather heavy, your version, in it's own (good) way.

This thread is a great idea. I have often wished that folks here would post more of their music - there are so many great musicians here (and even if you don't feel you are great, it is fun hearing your music too!). It is fun seeing/hearing what sorts of music everyone is doing.

I have no recordings to contribute to this thread, but maybe some future theme will work for me (e.g. original fingerstyle compositions, Baez/Dillan songs, old Irish tunes, etc).

I have a request though:

If you are posting a YouTube link, PLEASE embed the video like Ukejon (and some others) did. It is easy to do. It makes it SO much easier to browse many recordings (otherwise the extra clicks and delays in having the new windows pop up cause me to skip past many videos when I am in a hurry).

This is one of my faves, and far from "mainstream" (it was actually the B-side of the Sundown 45 record) I learned it Sunday afternoon and recorded it this morning. Hope you like it! Make sure you move the volume slider up on the Box player before listening!
