Default Angel (Sarah McLachlan / Martin Tallstrom) Fingerstyle

Hi folks, this is one of my favorite ballads and I have tried to create a new fingerstyle version of "Angel". The song was published in 1997 by Sarah McLachlan and for me it is one of the most beautiful pop compositions of the 90s. My arrangement is based on a special tuning (DADGAD) and I copied a lot from Martin Tallstrom, who created a masterful version. I hope you enjoy the arrangement.

I wish you a nice Sunday and best regards from Hamburg, Jimmy

Jimmy, VERY fine work on this!! Really enjoyed your creation and you set a nice pace for this and didn't rush the melody which was really helpful for listening and taking it in. This is really nice in DADGAD!
Best wishes,
Fred

This is really well done Jimmy! Really pretty!

I couldn't remember Sara McLachlan's song, "Angel," but when I listened to your recording I immediately recognized it. So you have done a great job replicating the essence of her song.

All of your posts have been studies in true musicality. Beautiful melodies, arrangements and tone played wonderfully right from the heart. They are true joys to hear.

And you have a real talent for picking perfect songs for solo guitar that you don't hear every day. Great job !
