I tried to post them for you, but just get a little box with an "x". Sorry about that! At any rate, the guitar is looking beautiful!

Hey thats awesome! Thanks for trying Alpine...I'm actually glad to know it wasn't just me. And thank you very much for posting them. Looking forward to learning how to do it myself.

Bunch of nice folk on this forum. Gotta love it.

Jon, I know how to embed the photos, as I have done in my posts, so what do you think I did wrong? Thanks!

And yes, quite a beautiful instrument!!

You have to get to get a direct link to the photo (the URL will end with .jpg). How you do that depends on the photo hosting website. For Flickr, here's what I sent to 3 Rings:

Quote:
On a Mac, this is how to do it. When you are on this page:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/1182587...n/photostream/

You have to right-click the picture and select "View all Sizes." If you don't get that option when you right-click the picture, then click the "More Actions" icon (it's on the far-right center and looks like three dots . . .) and select "Download/All Sizes" Now you'll be on a page where you can select which size picture you want to use. The default size that came up for me was perfect. Now, right-click the picture and select "Copy Image Location," which copies the actual image URL to your clipboard...then come to AGF and use the Insert Image button () and paste that link in. Voila!
On Windows, the process is almost the same, except when you right-click the picture, you have to select "Properties" (or something similar that pulls up info on the photo) and the URL will be in there somewhere to copy.

Default Custom Ziricote/Sinker Redwood by Thomas Taylor (Solid Rock Guitar Co)

Thanks Jon. I did that, but there was probably additional info after the JPG. At any rate, nice of you to do that, and will enjoy following this along. I'm a fan of dreads, and love Sinker. Why I don't have one, I have no idea.

Mike...Mr. Taylor (not Bob, haha) makes some VERY cool and incredible-sounding custom guitars. The price point is an added bonus. I won't throw around any numbers but he can knock out a sweet dred and has access to some very nice Sinker....

**Please note that I am well aware that Bob Taylor makes awesome guitars too! I own one**

David at Custom Pearl should have your fretboard signature done soon (hes busy and a great guy). I'll try for some better pics tomorrow -don't think the lighting was good not to mention the angles (:
