Default Huron Carol

Best wishes for a restful and meaningful Christmas holiday season to all my friends at AGF. Here is the first installment of my Christmas trilogy with some Canadian content.

It is well worth the read to check out the backstory in the YT description - it is a very interesting tale that brings us this 300+ year old, hauntingly beautiful cross cultural Christmas story of the nativity.

I toyed between playing this in Am or Dm. Both are great, but I liked it best in Am. Hope you like it. As always, I'm eager for any suggestions on how to make a better performance and musical interpretation.

Hope you enjoy it.

Hey Eric, my man. Thanks for checking in. Funny that some of the best Christmas tunes are so loaded with minor chords and/ or minor keys. May God bless you and your loved ones this holy season.

I really love this carol, and I really enjoyed your version. I especially love that little abbreviated Bm chord you throw in.

I haven't been aroun much lately - hope you had a great Christmas.
