Thanks Phil, I really try not to overdo percussion stuff. 1 because it doesn't really compliment the guitar and it's unique tonal characteristics usually, and 2 because it can really "jump out" at the listener at times and be the difference of someone enjoying the tune or not. I've noticed this myself while listening to soloists in this subgenre of modern guitar playing, and just can't justify overdoing rhythm parts which will usually compromise melody and harmony.

Are you in Europe in November 2021? Karlijn is playing our little venue on the 6th...

Hey Roland! Yes, she has mentioned it and how much she is looking forward to it. As long as borders are open without need for a quarantine I will be there. Can't wait to visit and hopefully meet! Thanks for your feedback on Airborne.

That guitar sounds so good and works perfectly with this song - bravo!

Tom
Thanks buddy! It's a perfect guitar for this type of playing I think. Rebecca has "the" tone that I like, and my ideal neck profile/shape.

Thanks for sharing!
Melody/harmony is always my goal...thank you for the kind words

Yes, I first heard this on Andy Mckee's "Ebon Coast" and it just happened to work nicely on this tune. Thanks!

Mesmerising, just a great job Dustin. I never would have believed that mixing/mastering could leave such a flavour - Antoine’s style is strong on this and it works really well with your playing.

Yes, alot of what you're hearing is the inclusion of the K&K for the bass and body percussion. The delays and reverbs are Antoine's specialty, I knew right away for this tune I had to have him involved!

Yep, he really adds a different flavour here, which I like.
