Default Nice mic deal

Found a pretty nice deal on a couple of mics for the budget minded home recording enthusiasts among us. Includes a MXL 603S(small condenser) and a MXL 2003 (large condenser) for $165.00. Those in the know give glowing reports on both mics. I ordered mine.

Check it out.

That's a very strange pricing. Notice directly under the "recording pacK" where the MXL 2003 is only $15.00 less on its own? Now look at the MSRP's. I'm wondering if you may have caught a misprint here.

Thanks for sharing! I plan on putting together a recording setup soon and I am looking for a large condenser mic for vocals. I was planning to use my SM-57s ($0) for the guitar , but the combo looks like a potentially good deal.

Will you need to buy the shock clips separately?

I just bought the same bundle from Musicians friend for a similar price. I starting a small recording setup, which includes a just bought tascam us-122.
Anyway, I have just tried the 2003 and it sounds great!

Also, check out this great book:
