The volume control... dial goes toward the neck or toward the bridge. In other words what is the top? Thanks

I could be wrong, been a month or so since I fitted one, but pretty sure, double sided tape is already fitted to the top side of the control unit.

Thanks Steve, not on mine . I put one in before and the tape was on it. I received it yesterday from GC, and no tape on the control. Every pic I pull up on the internet has the dial on the neck side.

The top has a lip that overhangs the edge of the soundhole.

roll the dial toward the neck to turn it up. If that's what you're asking?

Got it, the top has a little lip on it that fits against the edge of the sound hole. The dial is on the neck side, rather than the bridge side. Love the pickup by the way!! Thanks to all.
