Tyler sure builds beautiful guitars. This one is no exception. You must be so excited now that it's coming down to the wire!

I am getting excited Deft Tungsman. Tyler will be untaping the guitar today and installing the Gotoh 510 tuners. Then the wet sanding process will begin soon thereafter.

Here's a quick phone picture update that Tyler sent this afternoon of the Madagascar RW bridge being installed.

It shouldn't be long now before he strings this one up.

Thanks guys. Last week Tyler spent time carving the guitar's bracing through the sound hole to drop it to its target frequency. He told me today that the guitar is strung up and he has completed its final voicing with all measurements "spot on" and "sounds really good"!

He has currently sanded the guitar to 1500 grit and will take that to 5000 and then buff it out. Once it's all polished up and ready he will take some high resolution pictures and then it should be ready to ship to me in the next week or so!

Here are a couple of phone pics of the guitar at it's current stage. There should be quite a transformation in the finish from this point once he's completed sanding and buffing. I'm excited to see the guitar strung up with this positive report on it's sound.

Thanks for following along...more to come!

Thanks guys this is coming down the home stretch now. Tyler sent a few progress pictures yesterday.

Yesterday, Tyler completed a beautiful Euro-Spruce - Gabon Ebony R.1ca with Spalted Mango trim which was built along side my guitar. Mine is not far behind and should be completed and photographed very soon! Thanks for following along
