Oktavamod mics closing
If you've got an Oktava Mod microphone (or if you've always wanted one), better get your orders in - Michael Joly announced that they're closing as of 9/15/2018. It's not up on the web site yet, but I just got an e-mail from Michael.
He's embarking on a new business (that I still don't quite understand) on mindful meditation...and is stopping new orders after 9/15. Warranty repairs will go on until January 2019, and non-warranty repairs will stop after September 2019. I wish Michael the best, but I'm also glad I already got my OktavaMod MK-319 and 2 upgraded MXL-990's. OktavaMods have been the best mic bargain going for a long time. http://www.oktavamod.com/
