David, thanks for the explanation! I never took calculus, therefore I will be a buyer and not a builder, at least at this stage of my life. Perhaps when I have time and money for a hobby, I would love to try my hand at building a guitar, but I see a) the craftsmanship, b) the creativity and c) the level of equipment required, and I know that my destiny is not to build guitars. Seriously, you all have (as my dad would say) "magic hands" to be able to craft guitars like this.
Would love to hear sound clips. Do you have any hosted anywhere? Thanks again!!

I don't. I'm hoping my client will be willing to post a sample. I barely got through Calculus -- don't ask me to do any. It's merely a metaphor for each builder's internal decision making.
