Schertler Unico with K&K Pure ???
I have a K&K Pure Mini equipped OM that I want to run into a Scherlter Unico. My question is... will the Unico work with the relatively low output signal of the K&K or will I need to put a pre-amp in between my guitar and the amp?
If I need a pre I am considering the Grace Design pre's.

I have a K&K equipped Martin CEO7 and a Schertler Unico. The two are fantastic. The Unico's preamp is one of the best in the business, period.
As an aside, the output of the K&K is actually quite high compared to many pickups.

I have the Schertler JAM 200 that uses the same class A preamp channels as the Unico, and with all the different pickups systems I run, I prefer it with both of my Grace preamps (Alix and Felix). But I guess you should try it first before any purchase is needed
